A new build in East Hampton Village recently closed with a last asking price of $6.4 million.

At 3 Judson Lane, the chic shingle home with modern interiors is 5,150 square feet and located south of Montauk Highway, according to the Town & Country listing.

The five-bedroom, 6.5-bath home with Alaskan yellow cedar shingles features super-efficient radiant heat floors throughout. The master bedroom has vaulted 15-foot ceilings, while most rooms have 10-foot ceilings, though the centered living room has a 24-foot ceiling overlooking the custom, zero edge 20-foot-by-44-foot heated pool. The first-floor junior master and guest bedroom enclosed suite affords privacy between the residents and overnight visitors.

The walk-out lower level adds 3,200 square feet of interior space with 10-foot finished ceilings and 8-foot modern windows. It is open plan, with no column support disrupting the flow. It offers room for a sixth bedroom, and a full bathroom is already included.

Also notable is the three-level staircase that sits behind a contemporary window wall along with a three-story elevator. A separate heated two-car garage is outfitted with a Tesla charger. An additional covered parking area for two more cars is sited near the service entrance, kitchen and den area.

Back in January 2021, 3 Judson Lane was offered as a preconstruction sale for $4.55 million with an expected completion in late 2021. Since then, building and labor costs shot up and the market became even more favorable for sellers. The asking price had grown to $5.35 million by that fall and continued to rise.

Amanda Pearl Hamaoui had the listing.
