A 2.25-acre Bridgehampton estate with a 7,000-square-foot shingled traditional main house and a 1,500-square-foot pool house, and a two-car garage has sold for $10.8 million.
At 914 Ocean Road, set back from the road, the main house has seven bedrooms, six full bathrooms and a half-bath, plus a formal dining room, an outdoor dining space, a living room and a chef’s kitchen, all with oversized French doors and walls of glass for indoor-outdoor seamlessness.
The grounds feature a barbecue area, a heated 20-by-40-foot gunite pool and spa, an outdoor shower, a playground, a Har-Tru tennis court, specimen trees and plantings, and expansive lawn space.
Susan Breitenbach and Cutter Koster of Corcoran had the listing.
“914 Ocean Road is located in the prestigious Bridgehampton estate section, on one of the finest streets in the Hamptons,” Breitenbach said. “Set way back off the road on over 2 landscaped areas, you enter on a beautiful long driveway with an allée of trees.
“The estate has it all, including a large home, a heated gunite pool, an incredible outdoor kitchen, a deck and pergola, a hydro tennis court, and a multilevel pool house,” she continued. “Plus, you can enjoy the convenience of the close proximity to the ocean and Bridgehampton Village!”
The deal closed on October 30, according to Suffolk Vision Inc., which reported the sellers was ML Ocean Road LLC and the new owner is LOAPCM LLC.
The estate was built in 2007. It last sold in 2015 for $9 million and was listed in 2022 for $16.95 million with no takers even after $4 million in price reductions. It reentered the market for $12.5 million in fall 2023 and the asking price was then slashed to $12 million, the last asking price, in spring this year.
