The Real Estate Institute at Stony Brook University College of Business will explore the evolving landscape of solutions to Long Island’s housing crisis during its fall luncheon, titled, “Communities Before and After Multifamily Development — Exploring Empirical Data.”
Taking place on November 19 at Heritage Club at Bethpage, in Farmingdale, the event aims to bring together industry experts and thought leaders to share their perspectives on the future of multifamily development on Long Island and bring insight into the intricacies of Long Island’s success stories with multifamily development.
“As housing paradigms shift, this event will dissect the emerging trends, technological innovations and design principles that will affect the current and future generations of homebuyers,” organizers said. “The panelists will offer insights into the challenges and opportunities in adapting possible approaches to meet the evolving needs of the housing market.”
The panel will include Cristopher Capece, the president of Heatherwood Luxury Rentals; Peter Curry, a partner at Farrell Fritz P.C.; Kyle Strober, the executive director of Association for a Better Long Island; and Deirdre O’Connell, the CEO of Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty. David Pennetta, the executive managing director at Cushman & Wakefield L.I., will moderate the discussion.
