Linda and Jeffrey Chodorow, the proprietors of China Grill Management, an international restaurant group that includes China Grill, Asia de Cuba, Red Square and more, have sold their Water Mill home for $9 million.
In the new Netflix documentary “Bad Vegan,” Jeffrey Chodorow is interviewed while seated poolside at the home. At 23 Luther Drive, the 10,000-square-foot traditional built in 2003 sits on 2 acres near Mecox Bay and the ocean. It has an open floor plan, high ceilings, six bedrooms, eight full bathrooms and two half-baths. In addition to a pool, the residence offers a gym, a two-lane bowling alley, a home theater and a sunken tennis court.
According to town property records, Chodorow bought the property in 2002 for $4.6 million.
The asking price was $9.6 million. Tim Davis of Corcoran had the listing.
The new owner is Uday Veeraraghavan, according to The Real Estate Report Inc. The deal closed December 29, 2021.
