One of the latest sales on Georgica Pond couldn’t be more about location — and what can, ultimately, be built at it.
Listed with Bespoke, the current 4,700-square-foot, five-bed, six-bath home at 92 Georgica Close Road in East Hampton sold for a whopping $18 million — that’s over $3,800 per square foot — on December 30, trading hands between seller Walter Weil and buyer Eric Kenneth Seiff, according to the Real Estate Report Inc.
But what’s more remarkable is the 3.67-acre, southwest-facing lot it sits on — where zoning allows for up to a 16,000-square-foot, two-story residence to be built there, along the 583 feet of Georgica Pond frontage. As it stands, though, amenities also include a new, 29-foot-long dock, a tennis court, detached two-car garage, and a Gunite pool.
“This stunning property offers an unrivaled opportunity to own a waterfront home on Georgica Pond,” according to the listing.
