A “turn-key” gambrel shingle-style home south of Montauk Highway in Water Mill has sold for $9.25 million with a last asking price of $9.7 million.

By architect Sam Mitchell of Mitchell Studio in New Haven, Connecticut, and builder Nordic Custom Homes, the 5,000-square-foot home site on 1.1 acres at 367 Jobs Lane, within earshot of the ocean waves.

A light-filled living room looks out to the yard with a rolling lawn, patios and a heated gunite pool. A chef’s kitchen and a breakfast nook open to both a formal dining room and a screened-in porch for al fresco dining, according to the Corcoran listing. The first floor also offers a junior primary suite, a gym that could also be a study, a glass-enclosed sun room, and an attached two car garage.

A grand primary suite is on the second floor, with a sitting area overlooking the yard and a south-facing deck. A large landing and four more en suite bedrooms round out the second floor.

The listing notes there is room for a pool house or a second garage.

Susan Breitenbach and Cutter Koster of The Corcoran Group had the listing.

The deal closed on May 22, according to The Real Estate Report Inc., which reported the seller was Christina Giammalva and the new owner is a limited liability company.
