A waterfront home in the Village of Quogue with a dock and views over Quantuck Creek recently sold for $5.5 million.

At 45 Old Main Road, the custom-built Nantucket-style residence on 1.1 acres is 3,260 square feet with four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms.

The interior has an open floor plan with water views from the living area, kitchen and dining area. The chef’s kitchen is outfitted with an island, a buffet, and top-of-the-line Viking, Fisher & Paykel, and Sub-Zero appliances.

A third-floor loft offers more living space and a bonus room.

On the grounds, the amenities include a 20-by-40-foot heated gunite pool and spa with an electric cover, and an all-weather tennis court.

The private boat dock and kayak launch was renovated in 2024.

Karen McNamara of William Raveis Real Estate had the exclusive listing.

“45 Old Main Road in Quogue is a unique, western-facing, waterfront property,” she said. “The four-bedroom, Nantucket-style house is beautifully designed for easy living and entertaining. A two-sided stone fireplace between the kitchen and living room is a focal point of the main floor. 45 Old Main is sited on a full acre, and boasts a gorgeous waterfront saltwater pool and spa, as well as a tennis/pickleball court. Watching the sun go down on the water at the end of the day is breathtaking. I was proud to represent this stunning property.”

The sellers were John and Loretta Cameron and the new owners are Thomas and Carol Califano, according to Suffolk Vision Inc., which reported that the deal closed on January 28.

The property last traded in 2021, when the listing price was $3.5 million and the final sales price was $4.15 million. This time around, the last asking price was $5.95 million.
