A 1.8-acre Sagaponack estate south of Montauk Highway that was listed for $8.5 million has sold for $7.33 million, according to The Real Estate Report Inc.

At 60 Wilkes Lane, the property abutting 44 acres of reserve hosts a 3,000-square-foot residence built in 1985 with a pool and a pool house. But according to the listing, plans by architect Blaze Makoid and landscape architect Ed Hollander are in place for redevelopment with a 10,774-square-foot main residence including a finished lower level, with a heated gunite pool and a garage. A tennis court is also a viable option.

The identities of both the buyer and the seller were shielded by limited liabilities companies. Bespoke had the listing. The deal closed on September 17.
