A Southampton Village compound with a six-bedroom main house and a one-plus-bedroom guest house recently sold for $7.2 million after it was listed for $7.5 million.

At 52 Wooley Street, the 5-year-old compound also includes a gunite heated pool and a detached two-car garage.

Enter the two-story foyer of the main house and look straight out to an expansive and sunny backyard, the Corcoran listing states. A grand staircase and a paneled library with a gas fireplace are next to catch the eye. Toward the back of the house is a modern open floor plan, including a large great room with built-ins, a custom coffered ceiling, another gas fireplace, a large dining area and a custom chef’s kitchen with quartzite countertops and a high-end appliance package. A wall of glass French doors floods the great room in light and provides for seamless indoor-outdoor living.

Rounding out the first level are a formal powder room, a mud room with built-ins and a laundry area accessible from a carport, and a guest suite.

Upstairs, find a primary suite with a sitting room, dual walk-in closets and an ultra-modern spa bath. Two additional guest bedrooms, both en suite, and a second laundry room complete the upstairs.

The lower level boasts a wet bar, theater or entertaining area, a full bath and two guestrooms.

An elevator serves all three floors.

The guest house has a living room, full kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and stand-up loft area.

The Real Estate Report Inc. reported that the deal closed on September 2 between BVK New York Property Trust and the new owner, 52 Wooley LLC.

Beth Marano of Corcoran, who represented both sides of the deal, said 52 Wooley Street is a rare find in Southampton Village.

“While the home was built in 2016, it has a new construction feel as it was lightly used by the previous owner and was constructed with timeless finishes,” she said. “The home also has a large and legal guest house that one could never get with today’s zoning and building regulations, making this property unique and a true gem.”
