Budgeting is the most important task town officials have, and the brand new $134 million budget for 2025 will face a great deal of scrutiny. At about 10:15 p.m. on Friday, November 8, the wind blew down a tree across the street. The tree knocked down the electric pole, and an electric fire started. The response was very fast and professional, from the calming 911 operator (I am sorry I did not get her name) to the fire department and PSEG.
