Eileen Mary Tuohy of Sag Harbor died peacefully in her sleep from complications of pancreatic cancer on August 14. She was 61.

She was born on May 29, 1962, in Brooklyn, to Edward and Joan Tuohy.

She graduated from Mercy High School in 1980 and earned a degree from SUNY Plattsburg in 1982.

She was the owner/operator of the EMT Governmental Accounting Agency, in which she served multiple villages, fire departments, school districts and non-profit organizations on the East End for decades.

Tuohy currently served as the clerk/treasurer of the Village of North Haven.

She was active in the Ladies Village Improvement Society of Sag Harbor and many other charitable organizations.

She was predeceased by her brothers, Michael Tuohy and Edward Tuohy, and her sister, Jane Tuohy. She is survived by her brother, Timothy Tuohy of Sag Harbor and Tequesta, Florida; six nieces and nephews; and eight grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

A visitation was held on August 20 at Yardley & Pino Funeral Home in Sag Harbor. A funeral was held on August 21 at the Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Church in Bridgehampton. Interment followed at Oakland Cemetery.
