Last week’s court appearance by Justin Timberlake was somewhat drowned in the press coverage hysteria; nevertheless, it should be noted that the proceeding itself was marked by grace.
All sides handled themselves with restraint and respect for our judicial system. The prosecutor, judge and defendant acted with professionalism and courtesy.
The outcome was fair, and actually meaningful, given Mr. Timberlake’s wide audience.
Nice to see how this played out in Sag Harbor’s courtroom.
