Paul G. Meech, 49, of Sag Harbor was charged with misdemeanor DWI by Sag Harbor Village Police at around midnight on Friday. Police said Meech was driving a 2015 Aston Martin Vantage west on West Water Street at a high rate of speed. The arresting officer followed Meech, the police report says, and noted that he was swerving across lane lines. After a traffic stop on Redwood Road, Meech failed sobriety tests, leading to his arrest.
