Sag Harbor School District Budget Under Cap for 14th Straight Year; Coen and Reed Are Unopposed To Retain Seats on School Board

On Tuesday, May 20, Sag Harbor School District voters will be asked to vote on a 2025-26 budget of $52,360,463 that will preserve all programming and is under the tax cap for the 14th straight year. The 2025-26 budget carries a budget-to-budget increase of 4.25 percent ($2,134,600), and a tax levy increase of 2.9 percent. The budget not only preserves all academic programs, student support services, extracurricular activities and athletics throughout the district, but also includes continued investment in facilities’ maintenance projects, instructional technology, and equipment replacement, and also includes the addition of new International Baccalaureate and AP offerings.
