Just as everyone can tell you exactly where they were when they heard about the September 11 terrorist attacks, people can tell you where they were when they came to grips with the enormity of the coronavirus pandemic. Unlike September 11, though, when everyone got the news simultaneously, the pandemic was more like a slow-moving freight train.
