A Ruckus

Months back, I took out the garbage between 1 and 3 a.m. and heard a confusing, enormous ruckus from the direction of Westwoods.

I drove by the next morning to see vast numbers of whole trees lying down like the parting of the Red Sea, all to create a travel plaza road.

Where were the pines laden with bark beetles dumped?
