A True Gift

I had the pleasure of attending the winter concert at Tuckahoe School on December 12.

The fourth grade ukulele chorus played “Count On Me” and “Frosty The Snowman.” The fifth grade band played “Merrily We Roll Along” and “Jingle Bells.” The sixth grade band played “Centurion,” “Up On The Roof Top” and “First Holiday Concert.” The seventh and eighth grade band played “Star Wars (main theme),” “Auld Lang Syne” and “Christmas Joy.”

A terrific choice of music. The students were all very focused and had fun playing music for the audience of parents and friends and faculty.

The concert was under the direction of Peter Falango. His passion, commitment and joy of teaching music at Tuckahoe is a true gift to his students and to the entire Tuckahoe community.
