A Warning

For those of you who have watched Netflix’s “Squid Games,” I hope your reaction was the same as mine: repulsion. I urge everyone to experience this allegory. The harsh lessons provided should deeply disturb (scare) all Americans regardless of their party loyalty.

In a nutshell, the show displays South Korea, a once monetarily struggling country, today (and by what means). It has become an economic powerhouse. It is indeed a tragic tale. I was horrified by what I learned. Yes, this series is an ultra-violent production, but I made myself watch the full season. I need not watch season two. I get it.

Yes, South Korea is now a rich nation, but its citizens have been viciously victimized for profit for some. The cruelty is astonishing.

Let me sum it up so perhaps you will understand it. The common vocabulary word “vacation” for Koreans now generally means a trip to the hospital to recover from work exhaustion. Now, ain’t that a kick in the pants?

For those of you who think that greed is good, well, think again, because this soon could be us.

I do not care who you voted for. All Americans need to pay special attention so we do not end up like South Korea.

You have been warned.
