Anna D. Greaves of North Haven dies at 93

Anna D. Greaves of North Haven died December 13 at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead. The matriarch of a family that spanned five generations, she was 93.

Born July 13, 1916, she was a resident of North Haven since 1946 and a licensed real estate broker.

Family members said this week that her life was full.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda Broggi and Pamela Warren Thalblum; a granddaughter, Juliann Schoen Vacca; two grandsons, Hunter and Henry; three great-granddaughters Tiffany, Katie and Lindsay; a great-grandson Billy; and two great great-granddaughters, Jayden and Jordyn.

She was predeceased by her husband, Donald Leonard Greaves Jr.

Services were on December 17 at Yardley & Pino Funeral Home in Sag Harbor. A funeral mass was held at St. Andrew’s Church in Sag Harbor, with internment in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Sag Harbor Volunteer Exempt Firemen’s Benevolent Association, P.O. Box 2087, Sag Harbor, NY 11963 would be appreciated by the family.
