Annette Baker-Cassidy of Westhampton Dies November 9

Annette Baker-Cassidy, a longtime resident of Westhampton, died peacefully on November 9. She was 72.

She was born on November 7, 1951, in Luxora, Arkansas, to late parents Tom Baker and Lillie Stewart.

She joined the U.S. Army in November of 1969, before being honorably discharged as an SP4 in 1971.

She retired as assistant chief of environmental services of the Northport, Virginia, VA Medical Center.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Cassidy, also of Westhampton; her daughter, Brandi Haynes, of Brooklyn; her brother-in-law; sister-in-law; as well as many nieces and nephews and extended family.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 6, from 1-4 p.m. at the Robertaccio Funeral Home, at 85 Medford Avenue in Patchogue. Interment of her cremated remains with rendering of military honors will take place at Calverton National Cemetery in June 2024.
