The 6 a.m. Easter Sunrise interfaith service at Coopers Beach is always a special service. This year, the weather was also extremely cooperative, making it a top 10. The sunrise completely obliged Father Mike Vetrano, who stated he had been praying all week for this.
The reminder of our baptism, with the use of the Aspergillus and seawater, connected us to our community, along with the message to “go forth as God’s Easter people to change and love.” Thank you to all the religious leaders who lead us in prayer and faith.
Also a huge thank you to Keith at the Golden Pear for his lovely donation of pastries, fresh fruit and coffee enjoyed by all in fellowship.
So blessed to be here and hope to see everyone next Easter.
