Barbara G. Stout of Southampton Dies September 2

Barbara G. Stout of Southampton died peacefully on September 2. She was 83.

She was born in Southampton on April 19, 1941, to Stanley and Stella E. Graygor.

Her life was well-lived. She worked in Real Estate, and also owned Snow White Laundry and Dry Cleaners in Southampton, alongside her husband Monte K. Stout.

In the 1980s, the couple and their son moved and settled in Beaufort, South Carolina.

She was predeceased by her husband, Monte. She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Downs Foster of Southampton and Cathleen S. Montanino of Florida; her son, Christopher K. Stout of South Carolina; her granddaughters, Brittany Foster Ripke (Kurt) of Rhode Island and Jillian Montanino of Florida; and her great-grandsons Kolton Scott Ripke and Kaleb John Ripke of Rhode Island. She also leaves a loving circle of amazing friends.

She will be laid to rest in Beaufort National Cemetery in South Carolina with her husband Monte K. Stout.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the East End Hospice Kanas Center for Hospice Care, 1 Meeting House Road, P.O. Box 1048 Westhampton Beach, NY 11948-1048 (eeh.org).
