Betty C. Warner of Speonk died on December 11. She was 100.

A visitation will take place on Thursday, December 14, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Werner-Rothwell Funeral Home in Westhampton Beach. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 15, at 11 a.m. at the Eastport Bible Church in Eastport. Interment will follow at the Eastport Cemetery.

SOUTHAMPTON VILLAGE — A Wooley Street homeowner called Village Police on December 17 to report a break-in at his unoccupied house that he had witnessed through his Ring camera. The man told police that camera footage showed two men go up to the front door of the house at about 8:30 a.m., then go around the house to the backyard and enter through an unlocked rear door, setting off a burglar alarm.
