The South Fork Natural History Museum’s annual Earth Day Celebration will take place Saturday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the museum on Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike in Bridgehampton. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. there will be an array of children’s activities. A birding for beginners walk will start at 10:30 a.m., as well as face painting. From 2 to 3 p.m., the Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center will show off some of its animal ambassadors. Admission is $5 for members, $12 for nonmembers. For more information, visit sofo.org.

The annual golf outing hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Southampton is set for Monday, June 9, at The Rock Golf Club in Wading River. The Flying Point Foundation for Autism will be a beneficiary of the event, as well as other Kiwanis activities and programs. The driving range opens at 11 a.m. as will check-in and lunch. The Sag Harbor Lions Club’s annual Easter Egg Hunt is back and will take place on Sunday, April 20 (Easter Sunday), from noon to 2 p.m. at Mashashimuet Park in Sag Harbor. Children ages 2 to 10 are invited to participate but must bring their own receptacle to hold collected eggs, some of which contain a prize. Pony rides will be available for children in exchange for a $5 donation.

The Children’s Museum of the East End will host a Spring Golf Outing at The Bridge golf club in Bridgehampton on Wednesday, May 7, at 1:30 p.m. In addition to experiencing one of the most exclusive golf courses in America, players will enjoy a brunch before play and cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and a silent auction upon returning to the clubhouse. The Bliss Morehead Grant Committee has announced the winner of the fourth annual Bliss Morehead Poetry Grant competition: Bethany Moore of Shelter Island, for her poem, “In Praise of the End.” The theme for 2025 was “Beginnings and Endings.” Moore will be awarded the Bliss Morehead grant of $1,000 on Saturday, April 26, at 5 pm, at the Shelter Island American Legion Hall, during the group’s annual poetry meeting.
