Thursday, December 19, marked another disgraceful chapter in the long history between the Southampton Town government and the Shinnecock Nation. A week before Christmas, the Southampton Town Board voted, 3-2, to engage in economic warfare by pursuing litigation against the Shinnecock Nation’s gas station plaza project.
