Charles Glenn Applin of North Yarmouth, Maine, and formerly of Southampton, died peacefully at home surrounded by family on November 25. He was 77.

His family described him as a devoted family man, storyteller and faithful servant in Christ.

He is survived by his wife Peggy; brother Jerry; four children, Sheri, Jeremiah and his wife Nidia, Jill and her husband Patrick, Clinton and his wife Sammy; seven grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on December 2 at Christ Our Saviour Lutheran Church, 9 Terrace Drive, Hampton Bays.
