Poetry Contest Winners Announced

The Bliss Morehead Grant Committee has announced the winner of the fourth annual Bliss Morehead Poetry Grant competition: Bethany Moore of Shelter Island, for her poem, “In Praise of the End.” The theme for 2025 was “Beginnings and Endings.” Moore will be awarded the Bliss Morehead grant of $1,000 on Saturday, April 26, at 5 pm, at the Shelter Island American Legion Hall, during the group’s annual poetry meeting.
