The First Responders Children’s Foundation, dedicated to serving the children of U.S. first responders including firefighters, police officers, paramedics, EMTs, corrections officers, and 911 dispatchers, will host its inaugural Golf Classic fundraiser on Tuesday, September 10, at Sebonack Golf Club in Southampton. St. Ann’s Episcopal Church in Bridgehampton is asking renters and others leaving the area to donate unopened, nonperishable food to its Blessing Box for those in need. The food in St. Ann’s Blessing Box is emptied every day by those who need staples. Unopened containers of nonperishable food items may be brought to the St. Ann’s Blessing Box, located beside the church on Hull Lane, which is the street between St. Ann’s and the Presbyterian Church.
