Southampton Town and the Long Island Divers Association held an underwater ribbon cutting at Ponquogue Piers in Hampton Bays on Sunday, September 29. According to the Long Island Divers Association this was the first underwater ribbon cutting on Long Island. Renovation of the Ponquogue Piers, the old Ponquogue Bridge, was recently completed. Sagaponack School students walked Barbara Albright's house to surprise her with a birthday song and card on Wednesday. Ms. Albright is a longtime supporter of the school.

Raynor Country Day School fourth-grader Rebecca Bartha, Finnley Coonan and Isabelle Grucci-Petersen, and third-grader Luna Pulver were among those participating in the Laps-for-Life event hosted by the local Knights of Columbus on October 6 at Center Moriches High School.
