On Sunday, car enthusiasts and friends of the Valcich family gathered at the Amagansett Fire House grounds to support The Tyler Project (tylerproject.org), which the Valciches, having lost their own son to suicide, founded to promote suicide awareness, education and prevention for the South and North Forks for young people. The Show not only benefited the organization, but gave car and truck enthusiasts the opportunity to show off their preciously cared for vehicles, and to enjoy live music, food trucks, ice cream and kid rides.. The East Hampton Lions Foundation Inc. recently hosted its 37th invitational golf outing at the prestigious Maidstone Club. Proceeds will go to the many local organizations that the club supports. Among the top level sponsors were Mickey’s Carting, Riverhead Building Supply, Bistrian Materials, Prado Plumbing, and Rosemar.
