Just like plants, insects bloom. They look like one thing, then another: a tight green bud gives way to a pink flower; a gray pupa becomes red, with polka dots. Yard and Craft Sale at Presbyterian Church

The Westhampton Presbyterian Church is holding a Community Yard and Craft Sale on Saturday, September 21, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in its parking lot, 90 Meeting House Road. Fire Department Breakfast Will Support the Food Pantry

The Westhampton Beach Fire Department Juniors and Ladies Auxiliary will host a pancake breakfast at the Sunset Avenue firehouse on Sunday, October 6, from 8 a.m. to noon. The cost for adults is $15; kids age 10 and younger $10; and children under five eat for free. Proceeds from the breakfast will go to a local food pantry.
