SOUTHAMPTON VILLAGE — Two young girls were seen at Coopers Beach by an employee of Flying Point Surf & Sport wearing bikinis that had been stolen from the store the previous day. The employee alerted the store’s manager and police, who confronted the girls and contacted their mother. Felipe Coxajtipaz, 35, of Westhampton Beach was charged with misdemeanor DWI on June 18. Westhampton Beach Police pulled over a vehicle at 11:08 p.m. after observing the driver fail to stay in his lane, crossing over the double yellow line and white fog line while heading north on Old Riverhead Road. After asking the driver to exit the vehicle during a traffic stop, the officers noticed a smell of alcohol on his breath and that he had bloodshot eyes, police said, adding that the driver was also unsteady on his feet after getting out of the car.
