Crackdown: Business Owners on the South Fork Watch Immigration Enforcement Campaign Closely

The Department of Homeland Security posted photos online Monday of several individuals apprehended in its raids over the weekend. An estimated 1 million undocumented immigrants work in the restaurant industry nationwide. On the South Fork, business owners said they are concerned that immigration crackdowns will impact the local labor pool workforce, either directly or through stresses put on workers by deportation proceedings against family members, housemates or even employers.
