Dianne L. Palumbo, Formerly Of Water Mill, Dies, December 23

Dianne Louise Palumbo of Leesburg, Florida, formerly of Water Mill, died December 23, 2019, with her family by her side. She was 76.

Ms. Palumbo was born in Manhattan on March 23, 1943, to the late Ruth Brimlow and the late Fred Brimlow. She met the love of her life, Nicholas Palumbo, in New York and they had been married for 55 years. When not at the bank where she worked, or at the health spa, she would spend time with her friends at the Red Hat Society, working on jigsaw puzzles, swimming, and hiking in Utah, which was a favorite activity. Survivors said she was a wonderful wife, mother and friend.

Ms. Palumbo was predeceased by her parents; her sister, Carol; and her pet companion, Ringo. She is survived by her brothers, Jeff and Frank; and her sister, Pat; her husband, Nicholas Palumbo; sons, Nicholas E. Palumbo (Kerry), Jeffrey P. Palumbo (Lori), Matthew N. Palumbo (Kim); eight grandchildren, Chelsey, Ashley, Jeffrey “J.P.”, Natalie, Matthew, Caroline, Isabelle, Daniel; two great-grandchildren, Pierce and Kempton; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service is being planned for a later date.

Steffen W. Steudte of Southampton died on December 19, 2024. He was 65. He was born on April 11, 1959, the fourth child of Gerhard and Irmgard Steudte of Southampton. He was predeceased by his wife, MaryEllen Steudte; his parents; and his sister Barbara Steudte. He is survived by his two sons, Steffen W. Steudte Jr. and Jesse Steudte, both of Colorado; his brothers, Harald (Susan) and Christoph (Michelle), both of Southampton; his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Parendo, Benjamin Steudte, Christoph Steudte Jr. and Stephanie Estrada; and several great-nephews and great-nieces.
