Do Something

People voted to make the economy stronger. People voted to cut bureaucratic fat in the government. People voted to end illegal immigration.

No one voted for Elon Musk. No one voted for the press to be silenced. No one voted for veterans benefits to be cut. No one voted for farmers to be hurt by tariffs. No one voted for doctors to be denied medical research information. No one voted for medical research to be shut down. No one voted for disabled children to lose educational assistance. No one voted for American car manufacturers to have to raise prices.

In short, no one voted for a coup. All of Elon Musk’s actions have been illegal. He is not president.

Because of Musk’s inhumane and thoughtless methods, many thousands lost their jobs last week with little notice. These are people with the same bills you and I have to pay: mortgages, school fees, daycare bills, insurance, medical bills, groceries.

There are some things all of us can do. Call Nick LaLota, our congressman, (202) 225-3826. He has the ear of the president. Call all senators, (202) 224-3121.

Above all, stop playing the blame game and act together as Americans who love this country. Pay attention. Write letters and emails. Sign petitions. Make phone calls.

For the love of country, do something.
