After some outfitting and advice from Ken at Tight Lines Tackle in Southampton Village, Derek de Svastich went out and beached his first ever striped bass caught from the surf on Friday evening.
The striped bass fishing on the ocean beaches was so easy at times this past week that Stephen Lobosco broke out his Rise Fishing Co. (a Sag Harbor company) fly rod and beached a few the hard way. ADAM FLAX
