The Kiwanis Club of Southampton Town will host a St. Patrick’s Day bingo fundraiser on Friday, March 14, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Hampton Bays American Legion Hall, 55 Ponquogue Avenue. Proceeds from the event will help pay for ingredients used in the soups Kiwanis members make for the food pantry. Admission is $30 per person includes two boards and snacks with a cash bar. The Suffolk County district attorney’s office this week announced that it has filed felony assault charges against the Farmingville man who police have said robbed a Flanders Road deli last September and “pistol whipped” a female clerk with the butt of a handgun multiple times. HAMPTON BAYS — An East Quogue man reported to Southampton Town Police that someone stole his e-bike from outside a Montauk Highway business on February 10. The man said the bike was parked at the business at 6:30 a.m. and when he returned shortly after noon it was gone.
