BRIDGEHAMPTON — A homeless man reported to a Southampton Town Police officer on January 14 that someone had stolen his e-bike, which he had chained to a light post outside the Panera in the Bridgehampton Commons. Police inquired with the property’s management company, who reported that it had not removed the bike. Keith O’Hea, 58, of Noyac was arrested at about 7:30 p.m. on January 18 in Sagaponack and charged with DWI after a Southampton Town Police officer saw him disobey a stop sign at the intersection of Sagg Road and Narrow Lane. When pulled over, the officer reported that O’Hea was slurring his words and was unsteady on his feet when asked to exit the vehicle. A breath alcohol test indicated that he had been drinking more than the legal limit.
