The Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League released the rosters for its 10th All-Star Game coming up this Saturday, July 15, which will be held for the first time ever at Mashashimuet Park in Sag Harbor, home of the Sag Harbor Whalers.

The league’s midsummer classic had been held at Cochran Park in Peconic, home of the North Fork Ospreys, its first few years, then Lasorda Legacy Park, formerly Baseball Heaven in Yaphank, hosted it before it returned to Cochran Park more recently. HCBL President Sandi Kruel said she saw something at her hometown park at the end of last season when the Sag Harbor Whalers won the league’s championship that sparked the idea to host the game there.

First pitch is slated for 4 p.m.

“We wanted this to be not only a celebration of players but our fans also," she said. “After the championship last year at Mash Park — the crowd, the energy — was so electric we said let's move it to Sag this year. So we are very excited to have Sag host it this year. This community supports the league so much they deserve it.”

The game will feature the Red Team All-Stars, which will include Westhampton Aviators, South Shore Clippers and Shelter Island Bucks, facing off against the Blue Team All-Stars, which will include Sag Harbor Whalers, Southampton Breakers and North Fork Ospreys.

This year’s Red Team All-Stars will be managed by Jason Jacome, manager of the league-leading Westhampton Aviators (17-7-2). The team will carry 10 pitchers including Jake DesLauriers (Westhampton/Hofstra), Michael DiForte (Westhampton/Saint Peter’s), Bobby Finn (South Shore/St. Bonaventure), Drew Haight (Shelter Island/UMass Lowell), Ryan Miller (Westhampton/Norwich), Eric Prough (Shelter Island/Ponoma-Pitzer), Kyle Salvati (South Shore/Franklin Pierce), Myles Scarry (South Shore/SUNY Purchase), Brandon Stanley (South Shore/SUNY Maritime) and Jack Turner (Westhampton/Suffolk CC). It will have three catchers in Waldier Perez (Westhampton/Cal St. Fullerton), Matthew Tempone (South Shore/UMass Dartmouth) and Ryan Thompson (South Shore/Dickinson), nine infielders in Robert Copozzi (South Shore/SUNY Maritime), Aedan Forde (South Shore/New Haven), Ethan Guerra (Westhampton/Paris JC), Sean Keys (Westhampton/Bucknell), Aidan Larkin (South Shore/Molloy), Luke Mistone (Westhampton/Cal St. Fullerton), Luke Nomura (Shelter Island/Fairfield) and Matt Torres (Westhampton/Dickinson), and six outfielders in Peter DeVito (South Shore/St. Thomas Aquinas), Cooper Donlin (Shelter Island/Oakland), Joe Hackal (South Shore/St. Joseph’s-LI), Conor Kiely (Shelter Island/Stonehill), Tyree Jackson (South Shore/Hofstra) and Greg Marmo (Westhampton/Gonzaga). A pair of Westhampton Aviators, Jack Halloran (Emory) and Tyler Smith (Saint Peter’s), were selected as the team’s designated hitters.

This year’s Blue Team All-Stars will be managed by the Sag Harbor Whalers comanager tandem of Bianca Smith and Jacob Tobin. The team will carry 11 pitchers in Garrett Bolwell (Sag Harbor/Rhode Island CC), Joe Dooley (North Fork/Hartford), Cole Forcellina (Sag Harbor/Connecticut-Avery Point), Zach Fortuna (North Fork/UMass Lowell), Michael Gatti (Southampton/New Haven), Max Hart (Sag Harbor/Williams), Zach Karson (Southampton/Undecided), John Kwiatkowski (Southampton/Manhattan), Jacob Pederson (Southampton/Adelphi), Olivia Pichardo (Sag Harbor/Brown) and Patrick Teehan (Sag Harbor/Montclair St.). The Blue Team will also carry three catchers in Gabe Caso (Sag Harbor/Northampton CC), Christian Fagnant (North Fork/Amherst) and Ty Gilligan (Southampton/Dominican), seven infielders in Ty Acker (North Fork/George Washington), Jackson Curtis (North Fork/Husson), Kenneth Franquiz (Southampton/New Haven), Mark Henshon (Sag Harbor/Brown), Martin Marintchev (Southampton/Renssealer Polytechnic Inst.), J.J. Romatzick (Southampton/Hartford) and Milo Suarez (Sag Harbor/Dartmouth), five outfielders in Nico Banez (Sag Harbor/Dartmouth), Tucker Genovesi (Sag Harbor/Paul D Camp), Brady Karp (North Fork/Bucknell), Daniel Laderman (Sag Harbor/Vassar) and John Vitucci (Southampton/Seton Hall), and Southampton’s Mitchel Johnson (Southampton/Catholic U) was selected as the team’s lone DH.
