Helen J. Fitzsimons of Westhampton died on April 17. She was 92.

She was born in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, on July 22, 1932. She moved to Westhampton in 1971 with her husband Bill and five children.

She was a secretary at Westhampton Beach Elementary School, retiring at 55 to enjoy her Dominican Republic home each winter.

She was a member of the Westhampton Presbyterian Church for over 50 years, and an avid bridge player, where she subsequently met her second husband, Peter Monsarrat, after being widowed.

She is survived by her children, David (Nataliya) of Westhampton, Patrick (Phyllis) of Valencia, California, Anthony of Westhampton, and Sarah (Bill Pell) of Southampton; as well as four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husbands, William (2008) and Peter Monsarrat (2017); and her son Peter (2018).

Funeral services will take place Wednesday, April 30, at 11 a.m. at Westhampton Presbyterian Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to East End Hospice (eeh.org).
