Herbert F. Fisher of Manhattan and Southampton died on May 29 from congestive heart failure at home in Manhattan, surrounded by his loved ones. He was 87.
Born on July 4, 1933 in the Bronx, Mr. Fisher was a devoted husband of 53 years to Lilian, loving father to Alexandra and Kristina, grandfather to Sasha and Liliana, and uncle to Steven, Jeffrey and Susan. He was predeceased by his mother Lillian Fisher; father Alfred Goldstein; step-father Larry Fisher; and sister Lyn Revson.
He was a loyal supporter of his alma maters, Blair Academy of New Jersey, Cornell University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1955, and Yale Law School, where he earned his LLD in 1958.
He created and headed the Real Estate Group at the law firm formerly known as Winthrop, Stimson, Putnam & Roberts, then continued his career in private practice until his retirement in 2019.
