The Hampton Bays Alliance will meet via Zoom on Wednesday, November 13, at 7 p.m. The topic of discussion is Governor Kathy Hochul’s Pro-Housing Community Program, a policy designed to reward local governments that are addressing New York’s housing crisis. Seal Viewing Hikes Planned in Montauk

The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation is offering a series of hikes to observe wintering seals at Montauk Point State Park. Beginning this month and continuing through April 2025, a State Park naturalist will lead visitors on a scenic beach walk to an area where up to five species of seals may be observed.
