SOUTHAMPTON — A Hilltop Road resident reported to Southampton Town Police on November 19 that he had been emailed by an individual who told him they were moving from Florida to a residence in Riverhead and wanted the man to do contracting work on the property before they arrived. Sean Hanley, 49, of Westhampton Beach was arrested by Westhampton Beach Village Police on November 19 and charged with misdemeanor DWI after being involved in a motor vehicle accident at the 7-Eleven on Old Country Road in Westhampton Beach. At 3:29 p.m., police responded to a two-car accident at the convenience store. A driver said he had signaled and made a right turn into the 7-Eleven while heading south on the road, and as he turned, Hanley, driving a 2014 Lexus, rear-ended him.
