Isabel Jureidini (Isabel Jordan) of New York City, Southampton and Palm Beach died on January 12 in Palm Beach. She was 97.
She was born in Majdalouna, Lebanon, in 1927.
Isabel spent her youth in Majdalouna. She moved to California in the 1960s, and enjoyed a long and rewarding career with KLM Airlines at a time when being a woman in the executive offices of an airline carrier was challenging. She managed a successful real estate business in Southampton, and split her time between New York City, Southampton and Palm Beach.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Trudy; her niece and nephews, Christina, Steven and Patrick; her great-nieces and great nephews, Alison, Christopher, Naya, Alexander and Zachary; and her parents Jamile Dagher Jureidini and Samuel Jureidini,
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to her mother’s Endowment Scholarship at the American University of Beirut (AUB), the Jamile Dagher Jureidini Endowed Scholarship.
She will be buried at the family plot in Southampton, with only the family present.
