The Southampton Artist Association’s Winter Show will open today, Thursday, February 20, and continue through March 2 at the Southampton Cultural Center. A reception to meet the artists will take place Saturday, February 22, from 4-6 p.m. The Southampton Cultural Center is located at 25 Pond Lane in Southampton, across from Agawam Park in the village. The show will also feature the work of 30 students from Southampton High School. Students in ninth through 12th grade will show selected paintings, drawings, digital art and self portraits. Last month, Governor Kathy Hochul proposed a $252 billion New York State budget for the 2025-26 fiscal year.
