Jeanne Fedak of East Moriches, formally of East Quoque, died at home on July 29. She was 90.

She was born October 17, 1930 in Brookline, Massachusetts, to Sara and George Parmenter, where she grew up. As a young woman, she moved to New York City, where she met and married William Fedak Jr. They moved to Glen Cove/Glen Head to raise two children. They retired to their family’s East Quogue summer home in 1970.

Ms. Fedak became a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Westhampton Beach and was a devoted parishioner for over 50 years. Her service was all encompassing, including president of the ECU, Alter Guild, the Sewing Group, Thrift Shop, Summer Fairs and holiday luncheons. Later, Jeanne was presented with The Bishop’s Cross for her service at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church.

She was predeceased by her husband William Fedak Jr. in 1988. She is survived by her daughter Dianne; son William and his wife Amie; three grandchildren, William Fedak and his wife Jaclyn, Jane Condy and her husband William, and Lauren Fedak; three great-grandchildren, William Fedak, Victoria Condy, and William Condy; and many loving friends who she considered family.

Diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in 1987, and later with other major health issues, she was always grateful for her doctors. As a thank you to them, Ms. Fedak has donated her body to the anatomical sciences at Stony Brook University School of Medicine.
