There’s good news for beachgoers who want to enjoy summer weekends in September, safely, at the ocean. The Town of Southampton will continue to staff Ponquogue Beach in Hampton Bays with lifeguards for the next two weekends, meaning lifeguards will be on duty, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., at the popular beach on September 7 and 8 and September 14 and 15.
