Margaret B. Hopson of Bridgehampton dies at 83

Margaret B. Hopson

Margaret B. Hopson of Bridgehampton died on July 6 at her home. The mother of Reverend Earl Hopson of Calvary Baptist Church in East Hampton, she was 83.

Visitation will be on Saturday, July 10, at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Bridgehampton, where a funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Edgewood Cemetery in Bridgehampton.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brockett Funeral Home in Southampton. A complete obituary will appear in a future edition of The Press.

Rudy Ordonez Ruano, 36, of Shirley was arrested by Westhampton Beach Police on Sunday at 8:48 p.m. at the intersection of Montauk Highway and Depot Road and charged with misdemeanor DWI.
