Martha Rusk Sutphen of Sag Harbor dies at 79

Martha Rusk Sutphen of Sag Harbor and New York City died on April 12 surrounded by her family at her Sag Harbor home, after a battle with cancer. She was 79.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 19, at 3 p.m. at The Century Association, 7 West 43rd Street, in New York City. In addition, Mrs. Sutphen’s family will receive visitors at their home on Saturday, April 17, from 2 to 4 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Peconic Land Trust, P.O. Box 1776, Southampton, NY 11969 or Doctors Without Borders USA, P.O. Box 5030, Hagerstown, MD 21741 would be appreciated by the family.
