At about 10:15 p.m. on Friday, November 8, the wind blew down a tree across the street. The tree knocked down the electric pole, and an electric fire started. The response was very fast and professional, from the calming 911 operator (I am sorry I did not get her name) to the fire department and PSEG. The Sag Harbor Masonic Club will host “Temple of the Higher Self: A Sound Journey” on Tuesday, November 26, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the inner sanctum of the Masonic Temple.
